Back to Basics
Good morrow to the people who do not or cannot do anything better than to sit in front of their computers and search for key words that they feel are most interesting. Fact of the matter is, despite the declaration of freedom as individuals and as a nation, we are forever restricted by our own flaws and needs. For instance, i, a student, can only go out and enjoy whatever i want when i have money or the means to travel (w/c also requires money). You see, this is a need that i have in order to get what it is that i want. The flaw here is i'm not self sufficient. I cannot live without a host. I am a parasite who pays for education so that , in time, i can be the host. By then, the next generation would cling to me as i have to my parents..Oh such irony... we spend a lot of money to study so that we can have a chance, not a certainty, that we will end up in decent-paying jobs that requires devotion for the rest of our lives. On a the other hand, this independence removes the flaw stated earlier, and eventually answers for the need. In this case, greed can arise. The new need now is to earn more money so that you can support both yourself and your dependents. At this point, your eyes are opened to possibilities. Bigger Wants, if i may say so. This requires more money. Greed is the flaw, but there is a thin line between that and just wanting success. It is a fight between Pride and Greed. Others who are kind-hearted escapes these by increasing their dependents..i.e. giving away har-earned money to charity. Basically, its all just a cycle. you try to earn money, then eventually give it away. Like all cycles, it goes back to basics. when we're old and wrinkled and helpless, we go back to being parasites. This time, the host is the one who depended on you at the peak of your career. Give and Take. What you reap is what you sow. All life's principles are happening around you. You just need to notice them.
